Huawei kept relatively quiet about the new device during the launch event, but did announce that the Honor Magic 2 will feature Huawei’s latest, next generation processor, the Kirin 980. Honor president, George Zhao, also claimed the Magic 2 has a near 100pc screen to body ratio, providing the appearance of the ultimate edge-to-edge display. The Magic 2 will be able to be charged quickly with a 40 watt charger, claimed by Honor to provide “15 layers of protection”. Notably, the phone will be able to automatically identify the battery, cable and charger, and only when all three parts are identified as safe will the Super Charger start.

It looks similar to the Oppo Find X, but there's a big difference: The Magic 2 has a manual slider mechanism.
